All financial data you enter is stored exclusively on your device using your browser's localStorage. No data is ever transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The app stores account balances, budget items, notes, settings, and milestones that you enter. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer or any third party.
When you use the export feature, your data is encrypted on your device before being saved as a file. The encrypted file is not sent to any server. Only you hold the decryption password.
This app contains no analytics, no tracking code, no advertising, and no cookies. There are no third-party scripts except Google Fonts, used only for typography.
Because no data is collected or stored outside your device, there is nothing to request, export, or delete from our end. To remove all app data, clear your browser's localStorage for this site.

Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server, cloud, or third party.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your Silvro data will be erased. Always export a backup file and store it somewhere safe outside the browser.
Will my data sync across devices?
No. Data lives only on the device you use. To move to another device, export a backup on your current device and import it on the new one.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings > Data and use "Export Encrypted Backup" to save a password-protected .fin file, or "Export Legacy Backup" for a plain .json file.
What if I forget my backup password?
Silvro does not store your password or encryption key. If it is lost, the encrypted backup cannot be recovered. Keep your password somewhere safe.
Can I import data from another device?
Yes. Use "Import Encrypted Backup" in Settings > Data and select the .fin file. Import replaces all current data on this device.
Does Silvro use any plugins or frameworks?
No. Silvro is built entirely with vanilla JavaScript and CSS. There are no external dependencies, no npm packages, and no build step.
Can I use Silvro offline?
Yes. Silvro works fully offline after the first load. It is a Progressive Web App (PWA) and can be installed from your browser's address bar or "Add to Home Screen" option.
Why does Silvro use manual entry instead of bank syncing?
Silvro is designed around privacy and user control. Your financial data never needs to be shared with banks, cloud services, or third-party APIs. Nothing syncs automatically, and all data stays on your device unless you choose to export it yourself. This gives you complete control over what data exists, where it is stored, and what gets moved between devices.
Can multiple people share one Silvro?
Each browser profile is its own independent instance. Use Dashboard Manager to create separate dashboards for different people on the same device.
